(London Daily Mail) A mother of a baby girl born with dwarfism persuaded a food company to drop the word 'midget' from its line of pickles on Tuesday after months of campaigning.
Chelley Martinka, from Cranston, Rhode Island, who says she has craved pickles in the past, was incensed when she saw jars of Cains' 'Kosher Dill Midgets' at a supermarket.
The mother of ten-month-old Adelaide said she was so angry that she thought about smashing the jars. Instead, she took pictures of the product, started a blog and made a YouTube video for her protest.
