(New York Times) Timothy F. Geithner, the former Treasury secretary who managed the Obama administration’s response to the global financial crisis of 2008 and the recession that followed, will publish a book recounting that harrowing time, his publisher said Thursday.
Crown Books, an imprint of Random House, said the as-yet-untitled book would have behind-the-scenes details about the strategy that policymakers devised, and how decisions were made. The books is scheduled for publication in 2014.
