Regarding "Establishment GOP wages war on newcomers" – lest we forget, among the numerous Washington fossils, whose injurious political careers scream for term limits, are Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Carl Levin, D-Mich., who crafted the horridly unconstitutional section of the NDAA that allows for secret indefinite military detention of American citizens merely suspected of supporting "terrorism" (of elastic definition). Incredibly, McCain, Graham and Levin are comfortable with the notion that "suspected" American citizens can be indefinitely and secretly detained in military prisons without due process of law, habeas corpus, a charge, a trial, or even access to an attorney. When pressed, Levin said Obama wanted the provision in the NDAA.
In the final scene of George Orwell's allegorical fable "Animal Farm" (1945), the turncoat pigs abandoned their oppressed barnyard chums and joined the tyrant farmer at his dinner table. As Sen. Rand Paul fought valiantly on the Senate floor for the preservation of our Bill of Rights, RINOs McCain and Graham were dining in opulence with Barack Hussein Obama. What could tell the tale of conspiratorial treachery against the American people and their God-given rights better than that dichotomy?
It's time for the Washington fossils either to step aside or join those brave hearts who will fight the political battle to protect our precious freedoms. Without liberty, all else is moot.
