It looks like we Americans are quite close to getting a "comprehensive" immigration scheme foisted upon us whether we want it or not. But Sen. Jeff Sessions, a man I admire, says more discussion about various aspects of the proposed legislation is needed. So here's a thought: How about sending congressional aides (no shortage there) outside the Beltway to some of the many employment offices throughout the country and ask the millions of job seekers how they feel about more immigrants? Seems a fair question.
