(COLORADO SPRINGS GAZETTE) A Fort Carson soldier who became the first woman to flee to Canada to avoid a second tour in Iraq will face a court martial Monday.
Pfc. Kimberly Rivera, who is assigned to the post’s 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team is charged with desertion.
