Dear Mr. Farah,
Why is it that, concerning the firearm issue, the politicians have targeted the firearms instead of the mentally ill people?
Why not require a physician or two as agreed to keep a list of people they think would be at risk to themselves or the public? Independent medical boards could be set up to adjudicate a final decision. Everyone in a residence would have to prove inaccessibility to guns by the patient. It just seems cheaper and less intrusive to the entire public. Almost every attacker has been seen previously by a medical doctor, from everything that I've heard.
