(Editor's note: Colin Flaherty has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of skyrocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse. WND features these reports to counterbalance the virtual blackout by the rest of the media due to their concerns that reporting such incidents would be inflammatory or even racist. WND considers it racist not to report racial abuse solely because of the skin color of the perpetrators or victims.)

The powerful editorial board of the Chicago Sun-Times has thought long and hard about the epidemic of black mob lawlessness in the Windy City.

And one editorial board member has come up with a new way to stop the hyper-violence and killing: Take away their Facebook accounts.
Mary Mitchell's call for a Facebook crackdown breaks other new ground as well: She acknowledges the mobs are black.

So she got that much right. Even if it is the official policy of the rest of the paper to ignore – or even deny – the racial component of mob violence.
This, of course, is a newspaper that shrugs its shoulders and looks the other way when the police chief blames the hyper-violence of Chicago on "Sarah Palin" or "the pilgrims."

Mitchell's call for a tough new policy of taking away their Facebook accounts comes days after the latest episodes of black mob violence in Chicago over the Easter weekend. In several different places, crowds of up to 500 black people rampaged through the downtown and the public transit system: beating, fighting, vandalizing along the way.
Or did they?
Mitchell claims there were "no reports of robberies, assaults or property damage." It was just some "disrespectful teens … fighting with each other."
That is also breaking new ground. Because at least three Chicago television stations and lots of other news sites say it was way more than that. Even if they maintained their long-standing journalistic code of silence surrounding the race of the mobs.
The CBS affiliate said "a man was attacked around 10:45 p.m. while walking near Chicago and Dearborn. Sources said he was jumped and punched in the face by a group of teens. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital."

NBC put the word "violence" in its headline and talked to people on the scene who saw the black mob getting "violent," even attacking "mounted police officers … and pedestrians."
ABC piled on more of the same, talking to people caught in the middle of mob who used words like “attacks … terrorizing … assaulting people.”

And that does not count the 11 black people arrested for attacking and robbing a waitress and her mother on the commuter train. They knocked her down and beat her with a sock full of locks.
So who are you going to believe: Mitchell and the Sun-Times? Or those lying videotapes?
On the spectrum of black mob violence in Chicago, this probably fell somewhere in the middle: No one died. No one got shot. No stores were mobbed and looted. No beaches were invaded and no sun bathers attacked. No "gay" people were stabbed. No pregnant women were pushed down and robbed. No visiting professors went to the hospital with skull fractures. No hospital workers bloodied and battered.
Not this time. And if Mitchell has her way with her tough new anti-crime plan, there won't be a next time.
Of the 28 arrested in downtown Chicago, all were charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct. Mitchell says they will probably get cut loose after a perfunctory court appearance.
"What will be the lesson in that?" she cries.
So here's the Mitchell plan: Hit 'em where it counts.
"Teens involved in disruptive flash mobs should also be stripped of their Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Smartphone and email accounts for a period of time. Make them communicate the old fashioned way. Maybe then, they'll take a moment to think for themselves instead of blindly following a tweet."
After all, she cautions us to remember, "these teens had a lot of time on their hands and no plan about what to do with it."
Lest you think Mitchell is just another wacky liberal ignoring problems and creating solutions guaranteed to fail even before they begin, hear her out:
"As part of their punishment these rambunctious teens should have to use their Internet skills to organize a clean-up campaign in their own neighborhoods."
This was just the latest of more than 50 cases of black mob violence in Chicago alone over the last three years, documented in the book "White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it."
