Very interesting article ["'Monumental' mystery under Sea of Galilee"], which I appreciate you sharing with us.
I am not well studied in Bible geography but would like to ask if this stone structure could be relevant to the "heap of stones" referred to in the 31st book of Genesis, which was built by Jacob and his brothers. It would seem to me that since it was probably a major project, the "monument" referred to in the scripture could very possibly still exist.
