(NEWS.com.au) — A group of tourists found themselves on thin ice when they stopped for what they thought would be a relaxing picnic on a glacier on Sunday.
The four U.S. tourists were enjoying their feast at the Fjallsárlón glacial lagoon in East Iceland, a popular spot for travellers. They had even set up a table and chairs.
But it wasn't long before the section of ice they were sitting on broke and started drifting away due to a sudden gust of wind. Luckily, one of the tourists managed to get off the ice and call for help, the Iceland Review reported.
