Bill Ayers: Try Obama for war crimes

Domestic terrorist accuses president of 'acts of terror'

Weatherman domestic terrorist Bill Ayers is accusing President Obama of "terrorist activity," saying the president should be tried for war crimes at The Hague for his use of drones.

RealClearPolitics' Charlie Stone asked Ayers, "What would be your rating of his presidency at this point, based upon not personality but policy and politics, 'A' through 'F'?"

Ayers replied, "I'd give him a failing grade, but then you'd have to compare that to the grades I gave all the other presidents in my lifetime (which have been) some 'F'-minuses. I don't at all feel that Obama has let anybody down. All through the 2008 campaign, he said consistently, 'I am a middle-of-the-road, pragmatic politician.'"

Asked what he likes about Obama, Ayers said, "Well, he's a curious person. You know, one of the things I like about him is he's curious. He wants to know things. He asks questions. He's not just charming, he's also interested. He reads. … All of that, I find, you know, good. I like him personally. He's a really good guy."

But Stone chimed in, "With all due respect, you hold Johnson with disdain. You hold Bush, Nixon with disdain, but isn't Barack Obama – as the sole authority for drone use – engaged in terrorist activity?

"Absolutely," Ayers interrupted, "Absolutely."

Stone then asked, "So what's the response to him?

"To oppose it. To oppose it," Ayers replied. "Stand up in noisy opposition."

Then Stone asked Ayers a big question: "Do you think Barack Obama should be put on trial for war crimes?"

"Absolutely," Ayers interjected. "Every president in this century should be put on trial. Every one of them for war crimes."

"At The Hague?" Stone asked.

"Absolutely," Ayers replied. "Every one of them goes into office, an office dripping with blood, and then adds to it.

"Yes, I think these are war crimes. I think they are acts of terror."

As WND reported, Ayers recently confirmed what the White House has previously denied – that he held a 1995 fundraiser in his living room for Obama that was said to have launched the president's political career.

Stated Ayers of his relationship with Obama: "We were friendly, that was true; we served on a couple of boards together, that was true; he held a fundraiser in our living room, that was true; Michelle [Obama] and Bernardine were at the law firm together, that was true. Hyde Park in Chicago is a tiny neighborhood, so when he said I was 'a guy around the neighborhood,' that was true."
