Author: Don't spend on 'worthless degree'

Just imagine. Spending $50,000 and four years on a college degree, and then finding out the resulting qualifications are more or less useless.

That's one of the subjects addressed by economist, columnist, radio host and international speaker Jerry Robinson in his "Follow the Money Weekly" program this week.

He interviews Aaron Clarey, author of "Worthless: The Young Person's Indispensible Guide to Choosing the Right Major."

Aaron shares his unique, yet controversial, recommendations on how to make the most of a college degree, as well as which college majors are best to pursue amidst the nation's collapsing economy.

While America endures the worst economic conditions since the Great Depression, with no end in sight, it's not too late for Americans to insulate themselves and their families from its ravages, says author Jerry Robinson, whose book "Bankruptcy of our Nation" is already helping many do just that.

Robinson also shares his observations of the rally in the U.S. stock market, where the Dow Jones was above 15,000 in the last week, and how gold and silver both are back on the rise.

And he explains the situations in India, Turkey, Indonesia and Brazil, where the markets all suffered over the past week as fears continued to mount that the U.S. Federal Reserve soon would be halting its massive buys.
