(WHP-TV) The Trayvon Martin garnered national attention, and also got national reaction from the Commander in Chief. "It is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together - federal state and local to figure out how this happened. You know if I had a son he'd look like Trayvon."
The nation's top lawyer, Eric Holder, also got involved both before and after the verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman. "I want to continue to assure you that the department will continue to act in a manner that is consistent with the facts and the law. We are committed to standing with the people of Sanford."
But, we have heard no such speeches from President Obama or Attorney General Eric Holder about the murder of a young white college student in Oklahoma. Two of three suspects are black and are now charged with first degree murder. Or the deadly beating of an elderly veteran in Washington State by two black teens. So far, that hasn't happened.
