(POLITICO) Meghan McCain has seen the world of political punditry, and she has simply had enough of it.
“I don’t like working in cable news, how about I put it that way?” McCain told POLITICO when asked to pinpoint the source of most of her frustration over the past few years. The daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has spent the past five years wearing a number of hats in the world of political punditry: author, Daily Beast writer, MSNBC contributor.
“I’m just not a good pundit, it’s that simple. I’m not someone who wants to wake up every morning and fight with people everyday and think all Democrats are evil and going to hell and all Republicans are perfect. It’s not who I am and it’s not what I believe.”
