Just as the budget showdown in Washington occurs, $67 million of Obamacare funds are missing. The timing couldn't be worse. While many are howling like Chicken Little that the "sky is falling," there are others who consider civilian government employees akin to fleas on a dog, unable to manage taxpayer funds.
Democrats argue that Obamacare reform should not be linked to a shutdown, but they refuse good-faith negotiation otherwise.
Trusting them with health-care reform is like trusting Assad to eliminate his chemical weapons. Only the threat of consequences will result in action.
Isn't it odd that more negotiations are happening with dictators than with the loyal opposition?
