Coming soon to a theater near you: a depiction of the Bible's creation account so lifelike, so real … you could actually believe it.
"Genesis 3D," a technologically ambitious project of Sevenfold Films and Creation Today, is in development now, promising to be "the first, 3D, Christian movie about the very beginning of the Bible."

Sneak peeks and scenes from the film are already drawing awe-struck praise.
"It's like a time machine," claimed Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis. "It takes you back in history as if you were there."

"I was blown away, the graphics are stunning," said evangelist and author Ray Comfort.
Alex Kendrick, well known for directing hit Christian films "Fireproof" and "Courageous" further said of "Genesis 3D," "This is the way truth needs to be presented; we are raising the bar."

And, of course, that's exactly the point.
Eric Hovind, president of Creation Today and executive producer of "Genesis 3D," told WND, "This project is made by Christians, funded by Christians, for the entire world to witness the truth of the creation week in a visual experience that has never been possible before today's modern technology.
"By mixing the visual beauty of the creation in 3D with the information to answer skeptical questions, undoubtedly audiences will leave with an incentive to accept the truth of the Bible," he added. "And for those who are already believers, they will have their faith fortified and strengthened considerably."
A trailer for the film can be seen below:

To bring "Genesis 3D" to audiences, however, Hovind is asking Christian supporters to get involved – first by watching the trailer, then by sharing news of the film through their churches and social media contacts, and finally, beginning Sept. 19, by joining the "Genesis 3D," 40-day, crowd-funding campaign.
"The film has been funded so far by a relatively small groups of investors, and it has always been the plan to demonstrate that the film is able to be produced and achieve a level of quality before we began pitching it to potential donors," Hovind told WND. "The crowd-funding campaign has always been the essential strategy of the film to finish the production and get it into movie theaters, and we are confident that the Christian community will support the film due to its biblical paradigm and potential to impact people for Christ."
Among the supporters so far is Jonathan Falwell, senior pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va.

"I encourage you to get involved in this," Falwell said. "I am so excited about this movie."
"This is one of the most exciting movie projects I know about," added Joseph Farah, CEO and editor of WND.com. "It's a game changer!"
"The list keeps growing," Hovind told WND, "as more and more people are attracted to the project. High-profile speakers, teachers, evangelists, ministers, pastors, filmmakers and churches are getting excited and involved in bringing Genesis to life through 'Genesis 3D.'"
Hovind explained the goal is to get the film into theaters first and then to 3D Blu-ray and DVD.
"The success of our crowd-funding campaign will dictate precisely the marketing, distribution, international release and other considerations," he said. "We are confident that the demand for the film will help motivate the Christian community worldwide to support it in order to have the largest reach possible and make it accessible to audiences everywhere in many different formats. … This project has been a step of faith the entire way and it is amazing to watch God provide exactly what we need."
