The documentary features the highest-level security agent who ever defected to the West, Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, the head of the Romanian version of the KGB. At a time when the United States under the presidency of Jimmy Carter was treating Romania and the mass killer dictator Ceausescu as an ally, Gen. Pacepa defects and reveals the entire disinformation campaign, which was crippling the West. It shows how 4,000 Soviet agents infected the Muslim countries with the heinous book “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” It shows how the Soviets demonized Pope Pius XII and carefully demonized the United States.
Volume II [the film includes two DVDs] focuses on the close links between communism and Islam, including the fact that most of the Muslim leaders were trained in Russia. Finally, the movie comes to show how the leading practitioners of disinformation in the West, like Oliver Stone, unwittingly serve the cause of totalitarianism. Oliver Stone’s documentary miniseries “Untold History of the United States” is a nasty piece of work undermining the history of America and following the communist line to a “T.”
Content advisory: Very strong moral worldview exposing the disinformation campaign of the communists to destroy Western civilization, with a man escaping communism and praying for the first time in years and President Ronald Reagan talking about God and faith defeating the forces of communism; no foul language; violent newsreel footage of killings in communist countries and in Vietnam, but nothing extreme; no sex; upper male nudity of Holocaust victims and victims of communism thrown into mass graves; no alcohol; no smoking or drugs; and, brilliant refutation of communist propaganda.
“Disinformation,” concluded the review, which gave the production a four-star (highest possible) rating, “is a massive work, but well edited and keeps your attention throughout its running time. Although it could have been trimmed a little and tweaked in certain places, overall it is a must-see video exposé of communism. With time running out on faith and freedom, “Disinformation” is highly recommended viewing for every concerned American.”
