(NEW YORK POST) A top aide to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie callously laughed it up when she appeared to order lane closures near the George Washington Bridge, sparking a traffic nightmare in Fort Lee, according to newly uncovered emails.
A series of electronic communications between Bridget Anne Kelly, one of three deputies on Christie’s senior staff, and the Port Authority seem to show a political vendetta was in the works before the traffic-clogging GWB lane closures in September.
Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich didn’t endorse Christie during the governor’s recent re-election.
