Dear Mr. Farah,
As a political insider, not by choice but by the will of God, I have a little different spin on your Boehner column ["Inside story of Boehner's debt sellout"]. My thoughts are conjecture based upon my knowledge of some of Mr. Boehner's colleagues, not factual evidence.
I do not believe that 201 Republicans were opposed to raising or eliminating the debt ceiling. There are MANY more socialist seek-outs (RINOs) in the "R" party than the 27 who voted with Boehner. What Boehner did was find the safe or stupid R's to help ensure passage and at the same time give cover to his establishment buddies against the rising tea-party opposition. People who would normally vote with him, like Pat Tiberi, Steve Stivers and Dave Joyce (all fellow Ohioans) are fighting against conservative forces in their districts either in the form of a primary (like Joyce may have) or attempts to maintain or regain control of their central committees (which Tiberi is fighting).

Just a different perspective I wanted to share with you.
