(MSNBC) The Los Angeles Clippers lost their playoff lead to the Golden State Warriors last night, following the release of audio of a racist rant by a man identified as Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

Companies began to distant themselves from the Clippers over the controversy Monday, as both State Farm and Virgin America weighed in on the matter.
