Two big gaps in finding the Malaysian 777.
1. Hearing any black box audio ping from the surface is nearly impossible. There is a thermocline (water temperature) layer at about 500-1,000 meters down which prevent sound from going up or down through it. Submarines hide under it to prevent detection. This should be included in any reporting about Chinese and other ping detections.
2. The satellite photos of supposed 777 debris were provided by several countries, such as China, Vietnam, etc. The U.S. so far has not revealed any satellite photos, even though the U.S. systems are supposedly the best. The U.S. should be pressured to release the photos and explain why they were withheld from day one.
