After reading your column today on the victimization of Cliven Bundy, it's apparent that you're way overdue for some old-fashioned Christian introspection – because that column is complete BS. Why don't you tell the truth, Joe? Are you concerned that you've got to keep up the steady stream of misinformation you've been feeding your audience for years? Afraid you'll lose them otherwise? If that's the case, they're not worth keeping.
Cliven Bundy is no martyr. He's a freeloader, Joe. Other ranchers pay those grazing fees (which are a huge bargain compared to the rates on state or private land), but Bundy is a cheap freeloading SOB businessman who doesn't want to. He's lied about his family and their use of that land. And he conned Sean Hannity, you and some others into propping him up as some kind of hero. And a few hundred beer-bellied, gun-toting, high-school dropout yahoos agreed.
The government's action in this case is anything but unprecedented. Our Founding Fathers would have acted in much the same way as the BLM did. The founders, in fact, acted almost precisely this way, Joe. It was called the Whiskey Rebellion, and George Washington, when he was president, led 13,000 federal troops (many of them were drafted) to western Pennsylvania to put it down. And they did.
