Global-warming messiahs

By WND Staff

It’s my favorite time of year. The global warming “scientists” are digging themselves out of Arctic ice flows just in time to warn the rest of the world, which is recovering from another record-breaking winter, that they are here to save the day.

This idea of human-induced global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated in human history. It is fast becoming the new secular religion, with most Hollywood celebs as its high priests. In reality it is nothing but a fraud, a get-rich-quick scheme for “climate scientists” on government grants and washed up politicians like Al Gore.

If warming is really caused by humans, then how did the earth ever warm up enough to end the last Ice Age, long before humans were around burning fossil fuels? Also, why, in 1974, did Time magazine loudly proclaim that we are heading for a new Ice Age?

Its fair to say that when it comes to climate change we don’t have enough info to call the matter settled. Also, isn’t it just possible that if the Earth is heating up that it is because of a nuclear fireball called the Sun 1 million times larger than the Earth? Or is it at least possible that it is a natural warming cycle? It doesn’t really matter because global warming has never been about saving the planet. It’s about power-hungry politicians here and around the world, with like-minded friends in Hollywood, who want to turn the developed world upside down and control every aspect of our lives all in the name of saving the planet from a problem that does not exists.

I understand these people want to feel special and believe themselves to be our saviors; it must be a very good feeling to be a messiah. Of course, our messengers of doom want the rest of us to make sacrifices and cutbacks while they get flown around in private jets and consume more energy and resources ever year than the average thousand or more Americans. I guess to them it’s energy for me but not for thee.
