Jeb Bush’s comments regarding illegal immigration being an “act of love” exposes how out of touch he is when it comes to the law. If a person is unemployed, as many are in the U.S., and robs a bank so that his children can be fed, a case can be made that his actions are an “act of love.”
Undocumented workers are stealing jobs from legal citizens, not to mention the billions spent by states to educate and provide health care to undocumented workers and their children. While their motivation to come here may be an “act of love,” their presence here is an “act of theft.” If Jeb Bush sticks to his narrative, he will not be the nominee.
