(ABC6ONYOURSIDE) — COLUMBUS -- A total of 253 mumps cases have been reported in Franklin and Delaware counties as of 3:30 p.m. Monday, ABC6/FOX28 News has learned.
Of those, 153cases are linked to the Ohio State University outbreak, local health officials reported Monday.

Columbus Public Health, Franklin County Public Health and the Delaware General Health District continue to investigate a growing outbreak of mumps cases in our community.
All three health commissioners are urging individuals at highest risk of mumps to get vaccinated.
