Joseph, You are absolutely right in exposing the radicalism of Barbara Lee! ["Time to censure Barbara Lee"] Unfortunately, there are many in our government who probably have as sordid a past as she. Keep up the great work!
I wish there were a way to attack the anti-gun movement with such simple logic. New Jersey has some of the most ridiculous "lack of common sense" and redundant gun laws in the nation. Obtaining a Concealed Carry Permit is pretty much impossible here. It seems that the most draconian, if idiotic, gun laws are applied with the highest crime rates results of all. Chicago had nine deaths and 46 injured in gun violence just over the Easter weekend! The police chief in Detroit has advised his citizens to arm themselves because he knows that his depleted forces may not arrive in time to save a possible victim. Legally armed, properly trained private citizens seem to result in a much lower crime rate than those cities/states with the most restrictive laws.
These gun-control laws, of course, are just another indication of the gradual loss of our constitutional rights via progressive meddling in our government.
