(RealClearPolitics) An online petition demanding that file sharing and cloud storage service Dropbox remove former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice from its board has begun circulating online. Rice was appointed Wednesday.
The petition calls Rice’s appointment "deeply disturbing" and states that while the Stanford professor is "an extremely brilliant and accomplished individual," her appointment to the board is untenable because of her involvement in the Iraq War and Bush-era interrogation programs, along with her support for warrantless wiretaps, among other reasons.
No specific group or person has claimed leadership of the Drop Dropbox campaign, and the owner of the petition's website has remained anonymous.
