(Politico) A founder of the militant Islamic website RevolutionMuslim.com was sentenced Friday to two-and-a-half years in prison for fomenting violence against Jewish organizations and individuals in the U.S.
Yousef Al-Khattab received the sentence at a morning hearing before U.S. District Court Liam O'Grady in Alexandria, Va. Al-Khattab, who was born Joseph Cohen in Atlantic City, N.J. and later converted to Islam, pled guilty in October of last year to a charge of using the internet to place others in fear of bodily injury.

Al-Khattab admitted posting photographs and street addresses of Jewish groups and urging others to "deal with" Jewish leaders "directly at their homes" in order to avenge alleged Israeli atrocities in Gaza. Al-Khattab also posted praise for terrorist attacks in Israel and in the U.S. including the attack at Fort Hood, Texas in 2009.
