Michael Brown, Ph.D.

Author, professor, theologian and nationally syndicated radio host Michael L. Brown, Ph.D., joins WND’s commentary lineup today, offering exclusive columns every Thursday.

Converting to Christianity at age 16 as a “heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer,” according to his official bio, Brown has preached around the world, bringing a message of repentance, revival, reformation and cultural revolution.

Brown’s daily syndicated radio program is “The Line of Fire.” He also is the host of the Jewish-outreach documentary TV series “Think it Thru,” which airs internationally on the INI network.

Brown holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary and Regent University School of Divinity. He is the author of 25 books, including “Our Hands Are Stained with Blood: The Tragic Story of the ‘Church’ and the Jewish People,” which has been translated into more than 12 languages. Other books include “Hyper-Grace: Exposing the Dangers of the Modern Grace Message,” “The Real Kosher Jesus: Revealing the Mysteries of the Hidden Messiah” and “A Queer Thing Happened to America.”

Widely considered to be the world’s foremost Messianic Jewish apologist, Brown has debated Jewish rabbis, agnostic professors and gay activists on radio, TV and college campuses.

He and his wife, Nancy, who is also a Jewish believer in Jesus, have been married since 1976. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Brown’s website is “Ask Dr. Brown.”
