During a discussion of current events with a very knowledgeable colleague, we turned to the subject of just how many in Congress are realizing that they were deceived by Barack Obama and that we are in deep trouble with this president, as opposed to those who advocate his policies, are so narcissistic that they've no real concern for the direction in which he is taking this nation, or are mind-blowingly stupid.
As unlikely as it may seem, we have learned over the years (the last few in particular) that there are indeed some lawmakers who are mind-blowingly stupid. There are also those who have been in Congress for so long that diapers may be in order, if they are not utilizing them already. Some I believe are simply intellectually indolent and don't keep themselves informed. It's just a job to them – a job they can become quite wealthy doing but don't feel compelled to do particularly well.
There are, of course, lawmakers in the Democratic Party who are lifelong progressives, or Marxists, if you prefer. If you're interested, there's an extensive dossier on each and every one of them in Trevor Loudon's book, "The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress." Despite having become a powerful force within the party, they by no means represent the majority of our elected officials.

No, we're talking about Republican officeholders who are now starting to use words like "orchestrated" and "criminal" to describe the administration's actions. We're also talking about Democrats who, while they may not be employing these terms as yet, they're certainly thinking them. Believe it or not, there are liberals in Congress who are not progressives, who did not wish to see America's economy in this downward spiral, our national security compromised, our stature on the international stage devastated and emerging tyranny.
It has become apparent to those on the House Ways and Means Committee, for example (whose members heard testimony this week on the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative nonprofits), that this administration is essentially a criminal enterprise, probably qualifying for prosecution under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). This will never happen, since our oleaginous attorney general, Eric Holder, is the valued and powerful consigliere of the crime family – but there's more than one way to skin a cat, or a pack of communists, as the case may be.

We could enumerate the scandals and subterfuge in which this administration is involved, but I'm sure that the regular reader will be quite familiar with most of it.
The question remains: What now will Congress do about it? Because once crimes are known, failing to act not only violates their oath of office; it is a crime in itself, something of which I would also remind a few powerful news bureau chiefs.

From the start, Obama and those who put him in office were aware of the reticence American lawmakers would have in moving against him, regardless of what he did. That's why he's been so bold.
So allow me to offer a suggestion: A great deal of evidence has been unearthed in recent months that would be of immense value to Congress, or anyone in a position of prominence with any influence in (or over) Congress. For example, we now know that the Obama administration financed and trained the terror group, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). There is no getting around the fact that these are the not "moderate" Muslims.
It would not take much effort at all for Congress to determine that the anti-Assad rebels in Syria (whom the administration illegally supplied with arms) are not "moderate," either. In fact, many are one in the same. Congress now knows that the intention of ISIS, in addition to establishing the hub of their new global caliphate, is to strike at the U.S. from this new, amalgamated nation.
Congress could look to the Citizens Committee on Benghazi, the group of former intelligence and U.S. military that has hard evidence the administration had a very "hands-on" role in the fall of Libya's Moammar Gadhafi, as well as the subsequent distribution of weapons to al-Qaida affiliates in the region. Benghazi was central to this, and as I have said before in this space, if the whole truth comes out about Benghazi, there will most definitely be criminal trials.
Still, in scope, Benghazi was only a miniscule part of Obama's collusion in the plan for Islamist ascendancy in the Middle East and Africa. The evidence abounds. It's just a matter of utilizing it properly.

Congress might even turn to the Middle East press, specifically in Egypt and Turkey. While the latter cannot be considered a friend of America, they have been able to confirm ties not only between Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood, but decades-long ties between Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Brotherhood. Speaking of Hillary, I'd wager it would not take much excavation at all to reveal the fate of the "missing" $6 billion in State Department funds and additional tens of millions funneled through our embassy in Cairo during the tenure of the Mohamed Morsi regime.
The best strategy for anyone in government who recognizes the imperative in executing regime change in America is to transform Barack Obama from the beloved, groundbreaking First Black President upon whom so many placed their hope for change, into what he truly is – an American president who has committed treason – an operative with a mission so malevolent that once revealed, its diabolical nature will transcend even his ethnicity.
They will have to make it personal, showing every American – or as many as possible – how Obama and his cabal have conspired to harm each and every American and our heirs for generations to come.
