(NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) Just one year after his request to graduate high school in his dress uniform was denied, a New Hampshire Marine lost his life serving his country in Afghanistan.
Lance Cpl. Brandon Garabrant, 19, was killed by a roadside bomb, as were two of his brothers in arms, on Friday.
“The entire state of New Hampshire is devastated by the loss of Lance Cpl. Brandon Garabrant, who was bravely serving his nation in Afghanistan,” Gov. Maggie Hassan said in a statement.
