Gov. Bobby Jindal struck a chord around the nation when he voiced the sentiment held by millions: “I can sense right now a rebellion brewing amongst these United States where people are ready for a hostile takeover of Washington, D.C., to preserve the American Dream for our children and grandchildren.”
What Gov. Jindal did was merely vocalize the serious frustrations of a majority of Americans, namely, that we no longer have a representative government. Our elected officials don’t even pretend to represent us anymore. It’s all a high-stakes game. A scam. A con. Our politicians pat us on the head and utter soothing platitudes during election years, then kick us in the backside the rest of the time.
Washington has become an evil metastasizing cancer determined to protect itself at all costs. A few examples:
- IRS officials who are flat-out lying when they claim two years’ worth of Lois Lerner’s emails are missing. “Lerner’s emails to people outside the IRS are particularly important because she contacted members of the Department of Justice about the possibility of criminally prosecuting conservatives for their political activities,” notes the article. I know they’re lying. You know they’re lying. They know they’re lying. And yet they continue to lie. Apparently, laws are just for the servants (us), not the masters (them).
- “If you like your health-care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period.” Enough said. But if you want more, here is a list of over 700 documented examples of this administration’s lying, lawbreaking, corruption and cronyism.
- Tens of thousands of “unaccompanied minors” are flooding our southern border and turning our border guards into nannies. Who’s letting them in, and why? How did these children get all the way across Mexico, a nation known to vehemently enforce its own borders? I quote one speculation: “‘This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans.’ Two congressmen avowed that the flooding of America’s southern borders with illegal-alien children might derive from a secret strategy to transform the U.S. into a socialist state.” This makes sense. After all, not one single illegal will vote away their meal ticket when they grow up.
- The nationwide implementation of Common Core, which bears a striking and eerie similarity to the nationalization of education in Nazi Germany. The goal of Common Core is not education; the goal is indoctrination and massive data mining.
Jindal’s bold words merely verbalized what our elected officials refuse to acknowledge: that at ground level, there is a seething fury and hatred of our government officials and the unconstitutional laws and policies they’re implementing. The American people have spent decades being spied on, harassed, intimidated and punished by the alphabet soup agencies such as TSA, NSA, IRS, EPA, USDA, even the NEA. These (and endless other) organizations refuse to be constrained by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Drunk with power and money, they are determined to punish American citizens merely for being American citizens. The government uses crime and terrorism as the excuse to snatch away constitutional rights (free speech was suspended at the Bundy ranch; the city of Boston was on lockdown after the Boston marathon bombings). They target patriots and conservatives as being “domestic terrorists” and give passes to the real terrorists.
Most people are not anti-government, as the current administration would have us believe. Rather, most people are against the gangsters in the government who have hijacked our nation on a mission to destroy what made America great and rebuild it in their own image.
I need to make it very clear – our government is no longer a matter of Democratic or Republican (which are virtually the same thing). When the boot of tyranny is on your throat, it doesn’t matter if it’s the left or the right boot … it’s still crushing your throat. What America has is a “permanent government” (a de facto monarchy) that remains in power no matter which party “wins.” This government isn’t affected by election choices and therefore is not accountable to any mock voting or constitutional chains. The rulers keep the sheeple fighting and snarling among themselves over trivial things (divide and conquer) while it works behind the scenes to dismantle any further constraints imposed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
What more needs to happen to prove Washington hates its own citizens?
It’s been said that war is when the government tells the people who the enemy is; revolution is when the people figure it out on their own. News alert: the people are figuring it out. I speculate they will fight when a critical mass of tyranny is reached.
As one person commented, “There is going to be a showdown at some point. … People are sick of government, period.”
People are not sick of the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. They are not sick of the greatest nation in the history of mankind. They aren’t sick of the divinely inspired heroes who pledged their lives, their fortunes and sacred honor in its creation. No, people are sick of the cancerous government that has spread far beyond the limitations these same Founding Fathers attempted to impose.
The overriding conclusion I reach is this: Our government considers the American people to be the enemy. To fight that enemy, the government must deprive us of our weapons: the Second Amendment, of course; but also the First, Fourth, Fifth and Tenth.
Here’s a short history lesson for Washington, and please excuse me while I shout: THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT THE ENEMY!! WE ARE YOUR BOSSES!!! THE FOUNDING DOCUMENTS GRANTED SOVEREIGNTY TO ORDINARY PEOPLE, NOT GOVERNMENT GOONS!! WE ARE SUPPOSED TO RULE OURSELVES, NOT BE RULED BY YOU!!
Is that CLEAR enough, or do I need to SHOUT some more?
The hostility of the government toward the people – and the hostility of the people toward the government – is real, it’s deep, and it’s volatile. Gov. Jindal is right: Something is going to snap, and when it does, it won’t be pretty.
I do not long for another revolution. I abhor violence and bloodshed. But let me just say it won’t surprise me when it happens. Such is the inevitable result of tyranny … especially when the population is armed and dangerous.
NEVER give up your guns.
