(Politico) Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham said that when President Barack Obama delivered a statement on the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, she couldn't tell whether he was the commander in chief or a liberal columnist.
"There is supposed to be a difference between being the president of the United States and a liberal commentator on Salon.com," Ingraham said Thursday while filling in for host Bill O'Reilly on "The O'Reilly Factor."
Obama put his vacation in Martha's Vineyard on hold Thursday to deliver remarks about the violent protests in Ferguson, after Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year old African-American, was shot and killed by a police officer over the weekend. Obama called for an "open and transparent process" and said there is "no excuse" for violence by protesters or "excessive force" by the police.
