(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday gave the administration's most fiery response to the beheading of two American journalists by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, vowing that the U.S. would follow the terrorist group to the “gates of hell” if necessary.
"We don’t forget,” Biden said at the beginning of a speech in New Hampshire mainly devoted to economic issues. “We take care of those who are grieving, and when that’s finished, they should know we will follow them to the gates of hell until they are brought to justice, because hell is where they will reside."
President Obama addressed the beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff and James Foley during a press conference in Estonia earlier Wednesday, but his condemnation was more measured than the vice president's.
