Having just read your article on the almost incomprehensible decision by Principal Fulmer to remove U.S. flags from the students' vehicles, I had to quickly reread to see if this took place in Syria or Russia. Hopefully not here only 13 years later from the worst terrorist act committed on U.S. soil as thousands of families continue to grieve over their loss.
I shudder to think what kind of message this Fulmer is communicating to these brave students who had the courage to make a principled act in demonstrating their love for this country. Does Fulmer not understand what this country was founded upon, or what kind of threat exists for our young Americans' future? I hope to God that some of Spartanburg's students will become our future government and military leaders, willing to keep the people safe and respecting their First Amendment rights.

If Mr. Fulmer continues to lead the Spartanburg student body down this road with his poor judgment, God help us all.
