This article, "Obamacare architect announces 'optimal age of death,'" illustrates things, among which are: Our ivory towers are inhabited by overeducated idiots. They don't do much so they get to let their minds wander. Sometimes these mental gas emissions leak out and can be evaluated and can also illustrate how impressed they are with themselves. It is too bad some of these people are in academic positions where they can influence others' minds.
Obviously, there is a First Amendment, and foolishness is not a crime. But that being said, there is also a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. An individual's death is their own and their family's business, and not that of some pointy head who is influencing government policy and trying to influence public opinion with his pearls of wisdom cast among us less worthy and less intellectual swine out here in the mud fields, away from the gleaming ivory towers.
My question to our esteemed doctor is: Why should you wait? What are you really contributing to anyone's pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Oh, and then there is that pesky little oath all doctors take – first do no harm? Sir, in my opinion you are doing great harm!
