Re: "Real reason Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor" by Victor Davis.
This is an excellent article that gave a more "open" view of the world as seen by the Japanese and the probable scenarios with the Soviets and the Nazis.
My understanding of Pearl Harbor is based on the usual bag of political tricks used to create false-flag situations to make it easier to convince the American people that their desire for peace had to be abandoned and go to war, so there was that pre-planned meeting with the Japanese in November 1941 with FDR, who wanted war.

So FDR then ordered the U.S. carriers to leave Pearl Harbor, and they headed in a southerly direction away from the Japanese naval approach to Pearl. Of course, all politicians with bad ideas do the same thing all the time – blame somebody else for their rotten tricks. That is why the two admirals had their perfectly clean records ruined.
History repeats itself with predictable horror. The Spanish-American War began with that disgusting cover-up of the real cause of the explosion on the USS Maine, no thanks to a filthy rich Hearst from California.

Then the Lusitania off Ireland in World War I: This ship was a converted British Navy troop ship. The German sub
commander knew that. And the Americans on board gave the communist Col. Edward House the fuel he needed to get President Wilson to "do the right thing."
