Workplace violence, or Quran-following Islam?

Can you believe that the first heinous American beheading on U.S. soil by a radical Muslim is being primarily referred to as … workplace violence?

Two women go to their jobs at a food distribution center in America's heartland and fall victim to Alton Nolen, a ruthless, brutal savage and a recent convert to Islam. Traci Johnson is repeatedly stabbed, yet survives, but Colleen Hufford, is fatally stabbed and decapitated.

Workplace violence? How about murder in the name of Islam?

Technically, yes, this violent act committed by the enraged Islamist zealot, did occur at a workplace, but it's the continual reference of this crime as simply workplace violence more than an act of murder by an Islamic convert that gets my goat.

At the time of this writing, the White House has "no comment" to this issue. No comment. The "leader" of the free world cannot seem to find appropriate words to condemn such a harrowing, despicable act of straight out, cold-blooded murder in one of the worst imaginable forms. How appalling. How utterly spineless.

In my opinion, far too many commentators and talking heads are overtly concerned about possible blowback from "law-abiding peaceful Muslims." That's always the alibi that's presented, and Americans are just supposed to say, "OK. Right. We'll be careful not to offend them. We'll just keep our eyes on the radicals and hope they don't get angry and behead anyone." Let's hear it for Megyn Kelly, who, for one, actually confronted Muslim speaker Mike Ghouse and asked, "How can you say it's not Islamic?" For goodness sakes, beheadings are taking place on a regular basis, and all some think about is not mischaracterizing one group of people whose religion actually calls for death. America is bowing to the cowardice of a group of religious fanatics whose foremost priority is to annihilate those who do not believe in their brutal religion. That message needs to be conveyed.

If this vicious murder is merely workplace violence, then what constitutes death by decapitation in the name of Islam? Should employees expect to now become acquainted with decapitation as part of work protocol? Is "possible retaliation from radical Islamists" soon to be listed within workplace manuals and become standard workplace modus operandi? Crazy stuff.

Commenting that all Muslims are not radical is a pitiful excuse for the actions their religion endorses. If someone had committed this vile act of murder in the name of Christendom, hardly anyone would be talking about "workplace violence." There might be riots, Bible-burning demonstrations, desecration of churches, death threats against pastors and government crackdown on Christianity. Obama would certainly have something to say then, most assuredly condemning not only the murderer, but also warning Americans about "radical Christianity." There would be no mincing of words, no trepidation about misrepresenting "law-abiding peaceful Christians." Instead, there would be newscasts and special reports about the "harmful and damaging history" of Christianity, Jesus Christ and his radical, inhumane followers.

Islam is Islam, people. This is not a peaceful religion. The Quran instructs its followers to kill any and all who do not follow its teachings. There does not exist an "Islam Light" version of the Quran for the "law-abiding peaceful Muslims." No. The command to kill – over 100 verses – stands for all Muslims. There's no getting around what the Quran instructs.

Imams and representatives of CAIR are quick to assert the notion that radical Islamists do not represent all Muslims. CAIR specifies that the actions of radicals "are not what Islam teaches." That's incorrect logic; the faction of believers who take the Quran at its word represent Islam by carrying out merciless beheadings and other atrocious acts because that is what their instructional book and leader commands! Just because every single Muslim does not practice what the Quran teaches doesn't negate the fact that it does propagate killing those who do not convert to Islam. These murderers are on a mission to kill the infidels (that would be us, people). There is no mistaking their doctrine.

Brigitte Gabriel, founder and president of Act for America and a leading national security expert specializing in Islamic terrorism, is an unapologetic voice of truth crying out in the wilderness concerning the Quran and its detrimental teachings. She states, "CAIR is trying to deceive the public with their talking points. … CAIR's statement is false and misleading and does not represent what Islam is all about."

Exit question: How many more Americans will suffer death by decapitation at the workplace – and in society for that matter – at the hands of murderous Muslims obeying the Quran?
