CLEARWATER, FL (WFLA) – A former Clearwater wrestling coach has been arrested for battering two students while they were naked. Detectives believe there may be other victims.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrested Scott Stern, 45, on Tuesday for allegedly striking two teenage male students at Clearwater Central Catholic High School. He resigned from his coaching position two weeks ago.
Detectives say Stern made the first victim take off all of his clothes, and then grabbed him by the throat and groin area while yelling at him as a form of discipline in February 2014.
