(SUN-SENTINEL) — A Broward Sheriff’s deputy is accused of accepting oral sex in exchange for not arresting a woman in Dania Beach.
Ted Arboleda, 32, was arrested Monday following an investigation by Broward Sheriff’s Public Corruption Unit detectives. He is charged with unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior — a second-degree felony.
Arboleda began talking with a woman at a Dania Beach gas station on July 13, 2013, Broward Sheriff’s spokeswoman Dani Moschella said. At some point during the conversation, Arboleda learned the woman did not have a valid Florida driver’s license and was in possession of marijuana and an unlabeled bottle of prescription medication.
