Ebola-exposed NBC News crew in mandatory isolation

(New York Daily News) Dr. Nancy Snyerman’s team couldn’t contain itself.

New Jersey health officials ordered a mandatory quarantine for the NBC News crew that worked alongside an Ebola-infected cameraman after the group violated the terms of its self-confine agreement.

The group, which includes the network’s chief medical correspondent, was asked to isolate itself for 21 days — Ebola’s incubation period — after their colleague Ashoka Mukpo was diagnosed with the virus earlier this month.

But on Friday night, they were all placed in a mandatory quarantine.

It’s not clear which team member violated the order.
