No one really knows how history will remember President Obama. On the positive side, health care for millions, but not quite universal.
He kept us out of dumb wars.
He was tentative and weak in backing off red flag comments in Syria where several bombs may have changed current events. He killed Osama bin Laden. He wasn't the horror of Bush W., with war for oil and useless loss of life and chaos in the Middle East.

Obama is not the great president he could have been. He was hindered at every turn by a Congress that never accepted a black man as president.
I would say that he will be thought of as a mediocre leader with some important accomplishments who succumbed to the will of those who backed him, not unlike every other president before him.
He was not a great president, but a good one.
