WND has had a major impact on the culture. When I grew up, being a Christian meant someone who was honest, self-sacrificing and a force for good. They followed Christ's view of helping their fellow man.
A Christian is now comfortably dishonest if it promotes an agenda, mean spirited, judgmental and full of hate for anyone who does not agree with them.
This is the legacy of WND Christianity.
