With the grand jury decision not to indict Officer Wilson, some in the black community released their frustration by looting and rioting. Polls reflect polarization based on race on the decision.
While the black community is frustrated with the outcome, the white community is equally frustrated with the looting and rioting.
Based on the information being fed to the public, a white person acting as Mike Brown should have expected a similar outcome. When a cop tells you to get on the ground, you should do it without question.
Even those protesting peacefully should understand that, especially when a shot had already been fired. At that point, hands in the air is not enough, and the prudent thing to do is to get on the ground to prevent an escalation.
