(New York Daily News) Quack! Quack! La, la, la.
“Duck Dynasty” is being turned into a Broadway-style musical, reports the New York Times.
The play, “The Duck Commander Family Musical” — which will portray the reality star family’s rise to fame that Willie and Korie Robertson wrote about in their 2012 book “The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built a Dynasty” — is set to debut at Las Vegas’ Rio hotel and casino in February 2015.
Due to the often controversial family’s patriarch, Phil Robertson’s previous comparison between homosexuality and bestiality, which got him suspended from the A&E reality show last year, the Michael David-produced play isn’t sitting well with Broadway, which includes a large LGBT community.
