(WASHINGTON FREE BEACON) Republicans are up 7.3 points in ballots returned as of Tuesday morning in Colorado, according to Magellan Strategies.
The numbers could be a good sign for Republicans Cory Gardner and Bob Beauprez, who are in tight battles in the Senate and governor’s races, respectively.
Of the 1,609,360 ballots returned so far, Republicans are leading 39.6 percent to 32.3 percent. Republicans have turned in 636,959 ballots to the Democrats’ 519,925. Independents have submitted 28.1 percent of the ballots.
