(WASHINGTON FREE BEACON) NORAD will conduct “calibration flights” over southeastern Washington, D.C., November 5.
The exercises will feature a “civilian Beechcraft King Air aircraft flying patterns at approximately 4,500 feet above ground level, and two F-16 aircraft flying patterns at 5,500 feet,” according to a press release from the agency.
There will also be a “ground-based air defense system” deployed to the area in connection with the training exercise. However, the release said no actual ordinance will be used for the drill.
