Stone-throwing Muslims in Michigan bloody Christian evangelists while police officers look on, threatening to arrest the Christians if they do not leave. A panel of three judges dismissed the case.

If it had been Christians throwing stones at a group of Muslim evangelists in Michigan, do you think the officers would have passively watched the action or threatened the Muslims with arrest if they did not leave? Would the case have been largely silenced in the media and dismissed by a panel of judges?
Self-professed Muslims murdering men, women and children as they shout glory and credit to their god are not religious terrorists. They are simply misunderstood people involved in workplace violence. The media often ignore or downplay these incidents.
If those murdering men, women and children were self-professed Christians shouting glory and credit to their God, do you suppose their actions would be identified as religious terrorism or workplace violence? Would pictures and videos of these incidents run morning, noon and night on most media outlets or would the media largely ignore or down play these incidents?
Muslims are practicing genocide in a number of countries primarily against Christians who refuse to convert to Islam or pay a tax to live in servitude. The media are aware of this and sit largely silent.

If it were Christians practicing genocide in a number of countries primarily against Muslims because they refused to convert or pay a tax to live in servitude, do you suppose the media would remain deaf, dumb and mute in reporting these events?
The current administration continues to allow men and women to fly into our country from Ebola-infected countries of West Africa, and reasonable thinkers are told they are being unreasonable for thinking that this practice is going to potentially further the spread a disease that is killing 70 percent of the people infected with it.
The current administration, with the aid of the media, is currently waging a campaign to continue flying Ebola-infected patients into this country as a beneficial decision that will have positive effects on our citizenry and country. Those who publically object to this practice, believing it to be both dangerous and destructive to our citizens and country, are being labeled as selfish and fear mongering.
A nurse who recently worked in an Ebola-infected area of the world is angry and threatening litigation because doctors and nurses returning from these regions are being quarantined or asked to self-quarantine for 21 days before returning to the market square of our country. The media have been largely sympathetic to the selfish narcissism of this nurse rather than labeling it for the dangerous, arrogant and self-serving action it represents.
(I remember having the chicken pox, measles and mumps as a small child. When I and my brothers were potentially infectious, our parents kept us home and away from our playmates until the infections had run their course. This was considered prudent for the safety of those not infected, and the right thing to do even though chicken pox, measles and mumps do not kill 70 percent of those being infected. I do not remember anyone threatening litigation if they were not allowed to send their exposed and potentially infected children into the public square or school room.) Radical individualism is killing this country.

Our military men and women returning from Ebola-stricken areas of the world are quarantined for 21 days in an attempt to reduce the risk of potentially spreading this deadly infection to our own citizens upon their return from their good will missions. Our astronauts returning from moon landings were quarantined for 21 days. Neither our service men and women or astronauts threatened litigation because their quarantining was considered a reasonable and prudent action in both cases. Government is supposed to attempt to protect its citizens, not carelessly and senselessly expose them to life-threatening illness.
Two governors exercising common sense in an attempt to protect the people who elected them from a disease that is killing most of the people who become infected are being demonized as bigoted and insensitive. Much of the media is involved in this witch hunt rather than commending them for attempting to protect the public and their constituents.
Our government aggressively and actively subsidizes the promotion of children having "safe sex," and we wonder why so many teenagers are getting pregnant and the abortion industry has turned into a financially lucrative business for doctors who murder babies in the womb at any time and for any reason. It also seems to come as a shock to those promoting this industry and behavior that when teenagers are paid to have babies outside of marriage that fathers cannot be found, and most of these women are content to remain on the public dole, having more babies so their monthly financial entitlements can increase with each baby. This goes on in spite of the fact that children coming out of this cycle will have an astronomically higher chance of living in poverty, illiteracy and drug and alcohol dependency. Those objecting to this practice are typically labeled as racist, bigoted and uncaring.
Illegal aliens are pouring over the borders by the millions effectively bankrupting out medical and social services system at the expense of taxpaying citizens who often can no longer afford medical help or college tuition. Voter fraud, buying votes for food, cigarettes and a promise for more freebies is now so ramped that it is considered normal, and factored in as a plus or minus percentage of the votes cast. People demanding that voters produce a valid picture identification before they are allowed to vote are labeled as heartless bigots by many of those benefiting from vote fraud. Ironically, ballots continue to predictably go out so late to service men and women that their votes cannot be counted. This is not considered newsworthy, either.

Conservative Christian pastors are asked or threatened to submit their sermons to censor police by the same bureaucrats who publically champion the freedom of speech for all. One can only wonder why Muslims imams are not asked or demanded to do the same. Actually, it is not a mystery why the speech police are so hypocritically partisan in their demands. Most Christian pastors will roll over in an attempt to blend into the culture, while most Muslim imams will not.
A new medical delivery system that was promised to save people money and get millions of uninsured people insured has resulted in higher costs and more people going uninsured than before this money guzzling, boondoggling legislation was forced down the throats of people who did not want it mandated through partisan politics and the stroke of a president's pen.
Our country is fast becoming a second-rate banana republic while the world is on fire. The media and many of our elected and appointed officials cheer the progress that is being made in the downgrading of our country's military, economic capability, education, medical delivery system and the will to win at anything other than the systematic degrading of this once-great country. This is, in part, because of the blind and erroneous acceptance of a zero-sum gain philosophy that teaches that winning only occurs by forcing others to lose. College students fresh out of their parents' home, and dependent upon their financial help to get into school and stay in school, can be depended upon to blindly promote and vote this mantra.
What ever happened to common sense?
I don't think the primary problem is an ideological politician lining his or her own pockets rather than working to protect the common good of those who voted him or her into office. Honor and statesmanship are gone. Our political leaders reflect the ethics and morality of those voting them into office. Voting for the lessor of evils is now considered a normal and reasonable expectation, rather than trying to find a candidate with convictions and courage to swim against a flow of planned mediocrity. You cannot expect a dog to walk away from its own vomit.
The problem is not with politicians speaking and acting like politicians. They are expected to do so and are re-elected more often if they play this game well. The days of the selfless statesmen standing for principle and the well-being of our country are long gone. Love of self trumps love of country.
I don't think the primary problem is with media that are considered irrelevant today with very few exceptions. What the major talking heads of the media today can be faithfully depended upon to do is cover for the blunders of a failed and inept administration, and to predictably and passionately demonize and silence the voices of anyone daring to push back against political and philosophical leftist ideology that now represents the status quo. Political and religious conservatives are consistently promoted as the problems to progress in our thoroughly secularized public education indoctrination system and the public square. If one ever wondered how the world slept while Adolf Hitler scorched the earth and openly committed genocide, one only has to look at our media today and their willful refusal to report news accurately and fairly rather than work as the lapdogs of a corrupted system. They cannot be expected to challenge or attack a system they are now willingly a part of and dutifully serving.
Apparently, being invited to parties and included on "A" lists is considered more important to many journalists than pursuing and printing truth as independent servants of the people they purport to support through the platforms and pulpits they occupy. When Bob Woodward took on the Nixon administration, he was considered a hero. When he dared to challenge the current administration, he was censored and ignored as being too old and established to be taken seriously. Apparently, journalists are only expected to chase and challenge truth if it benefits a particular ideology. After all, truth is to be considered relative unless you are telling lies about me or my personal interests.
The primary problem is not selfish men and women acting selfishly. Human nature consistently trumps good intentions and sincere or insincere sloganeering, the freedom of speech, sound bite academia, politics or theology. People standing together in lockstep, demanding others treat them with respect and tolerance as they show utter contempt for anyone disagreeing with their views, is as shortsighted as it is hypocritical. Short of a change of heart or an attack from outer space, the virtue of loving your neighbor as yourself will typically be subjected to passively or actively serving self-interests and demanding one's own way regardless of the ethics or morality sacrificed or practiced in the process.
The primary problem is not with religious men and women strapping bombs to their children, glorifying the indiscriminate murder of innocent men, women and children while openly declaring that their goal of the complete subjugation of the entire world to their religious theology and ideology. To millions of Muslims, peace will only be achieved when everyone is converted or agrees to live in servitude to Islam under Shariah law. They rightly understand that in the culture we live in today fear conquers truth, and cowards would rather live in bondage than stand for convictions if the alternative to freedom is death. Although their motivation is religious rather than political, their definition of peace is no different than the definition of peace promoted by Marxism and the former USSR. Peace will be achieved when all those opposing their will have been subjugated or eliminated. Reformers are considered traitors.
Genuine Christians used to stand for truth, justice, honor, self-sacrifice, obedience, conviction, loving ones neighbor and attempting to protect the innocent. The church, like a mom's love, was considered the obstacle of those attempting to undermine ethics and morality in this country. Mainline churches in North America are now so compromised that it is impossible to tell the difference between them and the world the Bible teaches they are to be in, but not of.
I don't think the world has lost its mind. I think many Christians have lost their spine.
Politicians and ideologues depend upon it. The pillar of truth has slowly eroded and now crumbled in this country. Fear has replaced courage, art has replaced matter and pretense has replaced obedience.
