Let’s face it. House Speaker John Boehner is a snake in the grass, a de facto Democrat operative posing as a Republican. If Boehner had any care for the nation and the Constitution, he’d resign as speaker rather than play nice with Obama and the Democrats.
In the last election, the people gave Congress an unambiguous mandate to stop Obama and the Democrats on all fronts, not just federally. The voters also ejected numerous Democrats from state and local offices. The red states are empowered in numbers and strength primed to coalesce.
If Boehner and McConnell and the rest of Republican turncoats in Washington intend to surrender before the fight, is there a point to red states remaining onboard a sinking ship overrun by corrupt federal officials deaf, dumb and blind to the people’s will?
