(9NEWS) — PARKER – Police are investigating a sexting case involving students at Legend High School and now they are turning to parents for help.
“Detectives were able to get out there and interview those students and they found the originator of that sexting,” Sherry Corcoran, public information officer for Parker Police, said.
Corcoran says investigators were first notified about the case, which involved sexually explicit images, on Tuesday. Though detectives discovered the origin the photos, she says the images have already been shared with others.
“We believe those images might still be circulating, so we’re just asking parents to look at their students’ phones,” Corcoran said.
