(KPRC-TV) It was another difficult and disturbingly graphic day Tuesday in a courtroom where a man on trial is accused of raping, mutilating and killing a 15-year-old girl.
Day two of Jose Reyes' trial began with jurors viewing graphic video taken inside the cold, dark apartment in Clear Lake where Coriann Cervantes' body was found in February. Earlier, the homicide investigator showed photographs of blood smeared and splattered throughout the apartment.
Reyes and another teen are accused of kidnapping, raping, strangling, mutilating and killing Cervantes, then leaving her body in a vacant apartment. At times on Tuesday, Reyes looked at the witnesses and at other times he looked down, refusing to make eye contact.
